ABOUT US
Collab Bazaar is a Hong Kong-based creative health organisation bringing together arts practice, health knowledge and human connection.

OUR STORY
Founded by dramaturg and theatre artist Sim Fong Zoe Lai, Collab Bazaar was established in 2024 with a simple observation: during Covid, many older people need experiences that make them feel seen, involved and alive. She saw how dance could change the atmosphere of a room, how play could soften the distance between strangers.
This became the starting point for Collab Bazaar: a meeting place where artists, community partners and participants create together. Rather than bringing a fixed artistic product into a community, we listen, adapt and build experiences around the people taking part.

ABOUT
What's Creative Health?
Creative health refers to creative approaches and activities that can benefit health and wellbeing. These may include performing arts, visual arts, crafts, literature and other forms of cultural participation.
Our programmes complement community, social-care and wellbeing services. They are not a replacement for medical diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy or mental-health care.
For Collab Bazaar, creative health is not simply about adding art to a health programme. It is about designing experiences in which people can exercise choice, express identity, take part at their own level and build relationships with others.
